Now look for a ledge on the outer part of the area to find the Monolith. Make your way down and keep going until end up in an open area. Start from the Pantheon Corridor base camp and head down the path until you come up to a well surrounded by an ice wall. To find it just head southwest alongside the cliff until you spot it. This one won’t appear on your map but it is super easy to reach. The final Monolith in this area is at the base camp by the Communication Tower. This one is located a few feet away from the Copper Mill Yard base camp. Collect the documents in the area to help with the language level, then drop lower in the area by the mill to find it. This Monolith is located near the base camp at the Hidden Refuge. You will locate this Monolith inside the base camp of the Syrian Cliffs. Certain Monoliths need you to reach a certain level with a particular language, so we highly suggest accumulating any documents and reading any murals you come across to help Laura learn more. While exploring the multitude of tombs available within Rise of the Tomb Raider, you will occasionally stumble across Monoliths that will mark coin caches on your map. Inside you’ll find two veins of Magnesite Ore and some Mushrooms. With a Rebreather equipped, you can swim through the underwater tunnel to reach it. If you dive down into the water below, there is a small, hidden cave beneath the waterfall. Simply backtrack through the cave until you reach the exit. Head out the other exit to find yourself in a familiar location. At the top there is a decent sized room with some Mushrooms and three veins of Magnesite Ore to loot (the one by the waterfall can be accessed via the platform and the sing bars on the right side of the room). Follow the flooded tunnel to the end and climb the scalable wall with your pickaxes. There is a vein of Magnesite Ore on the opposite wall.

On the ground in this area there is a Document. Swim below the blockage and surface on the far side.Ĭlimb out of the water and proceed until you can either drop down to the right or enter a room to the left (we’ll come back through here on our way out). Return to the water and dive under the water. Upon entering, drop down into the water below and grab the Mushrooms on the left ledge (if required).

To the left you’ll see a series of ledges we can climb across (these will be highlighted with Survival Instinct on). Drop down into the water here and follow it until you reach the cliff. Ĭontinue down the slope until you cross a small bridge. To the left of these people you’ll also find a Survival Cache.

There is also a small niche just north of the camp fire that is blocked by a barrier that we can open using Grenade Arrows. By the red diving board sticking out over the waterfall below, there is a Coin Cache. Just west of the camp, against the cliff wall here, there is a Survival Cache. Exit the Base Camp menu when you are ready to continue. You can use the Base Camp here to apply any upgrades you require and spend any skill points you have. On this side of the river you’ll find another Herb shrub, several boxes of reagents, a crate of Salvage, an Archivist’s Map and a new Base Camp ‘Ridgeline’. As such, let’s get those out of the way first. As such, before we get too close, we should do some additional exploring for some collectibles, an achievement/trophy and to complete a Challenge Tomb. Doing so will trigger a scene and deposit us elsewhere. To continue with the game, we’ll need to approach the stairs to the north of the Base Camp here (just right of our the passage across the river we just used).
